Credentials, stated plainly

We'd rather be precise than impressive. This page sets out the founder's academic and professional standing in full — including where qualifications are in progress.

Academic background

The founder undertook three years of doctoral-level research in economics, studying under a senior academic whose work brought AI into Germany’s central bank, the Bundesbank. This was research towarda doctorate. The doctorate was not completed, and we do not use the title “Dr” or describe the founder as holding a PhD.

Professional studies (ACCA)

The founder is an ACCA student working towards the ACCA qualification, currently at the final Strategic Professional stage, with 9 of the 13 professional exams passed.

Until the qualification is complete and membership is granted, we do not describe the founder as an “ACCA member” or a “Chartered Certified Accountant”, and the designation “ACCA” is not used after the name. We are an AI-operations consultancy, not a regulated provider of accountancy, audit, tax or financial advice.

Applied experience

Alongside the academic work, the founder has hands-on experience across credit-risk and trading systems, including a short-lived 2014 venture applying machine-learning default-probability models in the credit-ratings industry.
