Our commitment
Consultancy in Action is committed to making its website accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549, as well as UK accessibility regulations.
How accessible this site is
We have designed and built the site to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. In particular:
- · Pages use semantic HTML landmarks, a logical heading order and a “skip to content” link.
- · The whole site can be operated with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators throughout.
- · Colour contrast meets or exceeds the AA threshold, and the layout reflows to a single column down to small mobile screens and up to 200% zoom.
- · Forms have associated labels, clear error messages announced to assistive technology, and are not time-limited.
- · We respect the operating-system “reduced motion” setting and do not autoplay audio or video.
- · Images that convey meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- · Every podcast and video explainer has a text transcript, and videos include synchronised English captions.
Known limitations & what we’re doing
We are honest about where we don’t yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working on the following:
- · Machine-generated captions & transcripts. Transcripts and captions are produced with automated speech recognition. They’re accurate but may contain the occasional error in names or technical terms. If you spot one or need a corrected version, tell us and we’ll fix it promptly — see “Get this content another way” below.
- · Third-party embeds.Scheduling (Calendly) and any future embedded tools are provided by third parties whose accessibility we don’t fully control; we offer an email alternative for every such interaction.
Get this content another way
If you need a transcript, captions, large print, or any information on this site in a different format, email hello@consultancyinaction.co.uk. Tell us the page or media item and the format you need. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
Report an accessibility problem
We’re always looking to improve. If you find a barrier we haven’t listed, please tell us at hello@consultancyinaction.co.uk or via our contact page. Please include what you were trying to do, the page address, and the assistive technology or browser you were using.
Enforcement & your rights
If you contact us with a complaint and are not happy with our response, you can escalate it. In the EU/EEA, each member state has a national authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act; in the UK, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) — and in Northern Ireland the Equality Commission — is responsible for enforcing accessibility regulations. We will point you to the right body for your country on request.
How we tested this site
This statement reflects a self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 AA using a combination of automated checks, manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, and contrast and reflow review. We review it as the site changes.
Statement last reviewed: June 2026. This is a good-faith summary, not legal advice; for a formal conformance report or DPA, please get in touch.
