The challenge

Every consultancy says AI makes delivery faster and cheaper. Almost none can prove it — the claim arrives as a slide, not a working asset. We wanted the opposite: undeniable, clickable proof of the exact value we sell.

A consultancy's website is usually a brochure. Ours had to do real work — qualify visitors, demonstrate the product and capture leads — and stand, itself, as the case study for the managed-AI-operations model.

The honest test was simple: could the same AI-accelerated delivery we run for clients produce something that would otherwise cost £95k–£130k and take months — without quietly trading away quality, accessibility or governance to get there?

What we built

We treated our own website as a client engagement and ran the full model end to end, on the same stack we deploy for clients: Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript and Tailwind — AI-accelerated at every step from architecture to copy to tests.

We built a demand-generation platform, not a brochure: a 21-question AI Readiness Assessment with weighted scoring, a branded PDF report, Postgres lead capture and transactional email; seven interactive tools — ROI calculator, service recommender, pricing estimator, comparison matrix, gated resource library, A/B testing, and an on-site RAG chat assistant grounded in our own content; plus four vertical landing pages, a structured case-study system and a funding-guide lead magnet.

Speed didn't come at the cost of rigour. The build ships 112 automated tests, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, structured data and SEO throughout, GDPR-consented analytics and local-first hosting options — and the code went through an adversarial AI review pass before sign-off.

The outcome

The result is the platform you're using right now: 24 pages and five API routes, with the assessment, the seven tools and the chat assistant all live and verified. Commissioned cold, a build of this scope is estimated at roughly £95k–£130k from a UK agency — about £60k–£75k from a strong freelancer. We built it for about £33k — a fraction of either.

It was designed and shipped in about three weeks — against roughly two-to-four months for a solo freelancer and three-to-six months for an agency, on the same scope. That's around 5–8× faster than the agency route, and months sooner capturing leads.

That gap is the entire point. We didn't describe AI-operated delivery; we ran our business on it and shipped the proof. When we build for you, this is the standard — and the speed — you can expect.

A build an agency would price at £95k–£130k, delivered for about £33k in roughly three weeks — by running on ourselves the exact AI-accelerated model we sell. The proof isn't a slide; it's the site you're reading.
